pics of my free monster tank!!

havent got it home yet,pics are from where its at now.
i thought it was a 180g so i brought 4 people.
well 4 people couldnt move this 240g!!
yup its 8x2x2
also got
all the lights
filter with tons of bio balls "filter was made by my grandpa just like the tank"
2 pumps
protein skimmer
uv sterilizer "didnt grab yet"
coral,it was all alive,collected from all over the world
the painting thing was made custom for the tank in miami.probably not keeping it.
so ya,plan of action is go back in a day or 2 with 6 guys and a flatbed.
we couldnt get the tank to separate from the stand.LOL
he said its been there for 30 years not 20
the silicone looks great,and its thick.
oh and the tank is half inch glass.
also didnt get pics of my grandpas custom overflow he made,will show later.
its not going to fit in the spot i planned so gotta think tonight.lol
its 9' with the side over flow
im so freekin happy right now
oh and whats the best way to clean the salt crap off?

and you havent seen the overflow on the side.
my gramps doesnt play around.
its like another tank but its a filter with different levels.
then it goes to the big filter.
and this is the biggest tank ive messed with so if anyone has tips/diy ideas/or any info i will take it. lol

should i ask somewhere else?
anyways
so anyone know what works best to get the salt or calcium stuff off?
what about the bio balls,will they be ok for freshwater?
best way to clean those?
will they make the water salty?
i think there 20 or 30 years old,is that ok?

Vinegar, water, and rinsing will take care of all of that.

Razor blades are your friend if the tank is glass (or if you're EMO).
