Vinegar, water, and rinsing will take care of all of that.

Razor blades are your friend if the tank is glass (or if you're EMO).

I just mix a good splash into a bucket. It just stinks. It wont hurt anything after you rinse it. You can clean the bioballs with it as well.

What a windfall that tank is.. now i am looking forward to seeing it up and running with monsters.. don't hurt yourself carrying that monster tank.. 240gal how incredibly lucky is that ????

i got a custom 300gal a few months ago and it was stuck to the stand just like that the lady i got it from said her father made it when she was a kid and right now shes about 40-45 years old but we just kept messing around with it and we put different knives under it all the way around it when we saw lil places we could get them for a pry but after 4 to 5 hrs later we got it loose and the 4 of us put it on my truck and the rest is history good luck with budging that tank and becareful because we did chip the glass a little on the edges

i think we are going to move the stand and tank together.

measured the filter
bottom half is 36L x 19 w x 13 t= 38g
bio ball part is 18L x 18 w x 22 t=30g
