UR GRAMPA IS THE ****.....this is the coolest thread on mfk..its so very awesome to see tanks and your grandfather is brilliant...that side filter is so unique and its crazy he had that idea sooo long ago...

Excellent that some of the history is still about. It's nice to realise that sometimes you don't need the construction company, or the plastics firm.. just hard work and dedication can realise some true monsters.

My dad use to own a small pet shop when we were back in Hong Kong.. he wuz very much in luv with this hobby... until.. the worst thing came into his life... my mom! LOL! j/k! He just got way too busy! if I find those pictures, i'lll be sure to share em wit u too!

wow midnight this thread is amazing! i hope you and your grandad are both proud of all this! it mustve been amazing growing up around all that, ive been around fish all my life too my dad and his dad both kept fish but the difference between me and you is
i grew up around 80gallon bichir tanks and koi ponds and you got all that!
see how you turned out so much better hahaha
but i hope one day to keep monster tanks =D an arowana is my dream so im very jelous of yours!

oh ya and sum know i moved....
well i moved into my grandpas vacant home...
so my lil 240g now sits where my gramps has had tanks for the last 40 yrs!
