I love them the more exotics the better .

The Mayans are huge I had no idea they got that big till saw them in the canals but striking colors for fish that big.

I havent caught any myself have only seen them

wow i got to admit thats an overkill with that rod finesse fishing makes even the small ones fun.

were these caught in florida panhandle? cuz the fourth pic down looks like a gator gar and the very edge of the panhandle are i think the only place gators are native i FL.

but ya some exotics are cool but when they take over a whole state theres a problem
mayans and jewel cichlids are doing it the worst

o ok. im pretty sure that the fish in the 4th pic is a gator cuz if you look at the head shape and the broadness of its snout compared to the florida gars in the other pics you can tell quite a difference. but i could be wrong. i just think its kind of weird that if it is a gator that you caught it in south FL and they are not native to that area that i know of. BTW nice thread and pics.
