Dont know about the name monkfish, but its definately Lophius Piscatorius, cold and saltwater fish.

Was lucky today, while changing water for this tank suddenly heard a loud bang in the floating tank with this guy inside.

When i looked i saw this. Pardon me for the horrible pictures and dirty tank glass :o hands wet cant hold and shoot properly. :p

This tiger loach was introduced to my 72 gallon community by my gf. He was just too cute to pass up. He was turning into her favorite fish until he settled in and started terrorizing his docile tank mates.

That's when he was dumped into the 180 bichir lair.

This photo isn't exactly what it looks, one very doomed tiger loach. This has to be the 4rth or 5th time in 4 weeks this endli has caught the loach. And every time he parades around the aquarium showing off his trophy only to have it escape when he tries to rearange the grip for the final swallow.

As I type this i can see the loach happily buzzing back and forth around the aquarium sniffing out leftover bloodworm from dinner. And the endli has that very defeated sour look. Soon he'll bury himself and try for a 6th time to swallow the loach one and for all.

Up until now it's just catch and release.
