I had three Crenicichla sp. 'cobra', three Crenicichla sp. 'xinguII' , and one Crenicichla lenticulata in a 125gal together for almost six months. The lent and the dom. male xingu II would flare at each other occasionally, but there were no real squabbles to be noted....so it can be done! ;)

I agree it can be done, I believe if the are put together at as young enough age as possible it will increase the chances. That and a large tank.

I actually was keeping my two Atabapo's in with a equal sized Lucius, a smaller lucius and a Regani. The Atabapo's would be chased and harassed by the larger Lucius and Regani all the time. I got rid of the larger Lucius and Regani. Now the smaller Lucius is always around them and even seems to have bonded with them.
