Anyone have them on here? please post a few pics of them please! do they go by another name? i searched for info on them but couldnt find any. All i know is they get rather big. I was thinking of getting a couple.

Are you talking about this fish, Leptobarbus hoevenii ? Sometimes the common name is Pink Tail Golden Shark. Here is a picture of them:

I had one of them, it was listed as a red-tail chalceus. It jumped right out of the tank, with the glass top closed. He buddied up with my chalceus. I think it must be in the barb family.
IT HAS A PINK TAIL/REDISH TAIL AND a silver body and has a black line going long ways on its body
Sounds like a red tailed chalceus as mentioned further up. The dot behind the gills would sometimes tunr into a stripe depending on mood.
