Piranha identification help

I am looking at buying a piranha from a friend that he had ordered off of aquascape. He said it's a sanchezi but he also said red spilo. They are different fish correct? I would like to know which fish it is and the different requirements they need. Thanks

That's a sanchezi. Sometimes shops or importers will call sanchezi a red/purple spilo. The requirements are the same. Both need to be kept solo and should be in tank with 36"x18" or 48"x12" footprint. And both require good filtration and water movement.

If it's 5 inches you would be able to see a shimmer and either red or purple on the belly... ( purple or red sanchezi).....I think it might be a rhom

I thought I could see the irregular scutes on the belly, but certainly be wrong. Could you get a better picture of the belly of the fish?

Those are different piranhas. The second one is sanchezi and I think sandnukka might right about the first.
