Piranha vs large Cichlid

So if say a large male aggressive JAG were to lip lock or jaw lock a Piranha what would happen? I know that Piranha have teeth like right there in their mouths so what would turn out? Would it just be the p tearing right throught the JAG or maybe not? Just wondering as I've never seen anything about any cichlids jaw locking and p's. Btw the p would be a large red belly. So what would turn out? A bloody jag or a messed up p? If anyone has any pics of any p's jaw locking cichlids please post I wanna see this. Also wondering how a jaw lock would work as the Piranha has a basically straight head while most cichlids have a curved like body

Well i think the jag would win. jags are way more aggressive. a single RBP would not stand a chance. well 3-4 could probibly take down a jag. piranhas are only really aggressive in groups.

I never said anywhere that it was entertaining to me to see fish be hurt or threatened. I appreciate fish very much. The only thing I said was I would like to see this such as in a wild encounter possibly or other occurances. But reread as no where in the paragraph did I state that this is "entertaining" I love fish and I love all kinds of fish. I would never purposely harm a fish as I am very fond of all fish! Read carefully before assuming.

And btw, a piranha would have no interest in locking lips with another fish, so I highly doubt you will find the pics you're looking for.

Also it is the aggression that seems to lure many new keepers who may not otherwise keep fish. Myself included on that group. I bought 4 Cls as feeders for my lung. I found this site, learnt how to keep fish and now have 26 Cls in a purpose bought tank.
My point is educate rather than belittle.

There is some show on animal planet where they take completely different types of animals for example a cougar and a python which wouldn't encounter eachother in the wild commonly but when they do these are the results. I was watching this show and thought of what about large aggressive fish! So that is how I came to this conclusion of wondering and I asked fellow MFKers to see what they thought of this fight
