Man, I've had these guppies for almost a month now, the females has the dark gravid spot but no fry! and this is in a heavily planted tank so i know they aren't eaten up. boo! I want feeders!

just throw a bunch in your main tank. Somehow in my tank they make it and breed a constant supply of feeders that I dont even have to touch!
i have never had any luck with gupies i have tried diffrent filters ect and eventually they all die, and they are free of disease bught diffrent places. ect. but the best guppies i have are sold as "wild" guppies, and i had them in a large 35 gal bucket wiht a sponge filter as a project and i worked really, i have seen ohter people raise fish in sterilite and rubbermaid containers no problem, and in fact, in high school, my ag teacher kept several bull head cat fish in the room in a 250gal or more rubbermaid trought. so i think it would be safe, its worth a try
I use the grey 77 litre (about 19 gallon) rubber maid containers to store water for water changes. I have used 5 of them for over two years with no problems for my 120 gal. mixed reef, 165 gal. angel tank or 320 gal. stingray/jardini tank. If the plastic is leaching any chemicals, they don't seem to be affecting my corals or fish.
Some people just seem to find that.
Mine breed like guppies are supposed to and dont even bother eating the fry. I had to put a kribensis in the tank as birth control. Its the worlds best fed kribensis
And my water conditions are all wrong for guppies too ( soft and acid water) So who knows??As for the containers, they are generally labeled 'food safe'. If they were leaching significant toxic chemicals, they sure aint safe for food storage.

what I've found in breeding guppies is to have only a air stone or sponge filter and at least 3 males to one female. Guppies don't like alot of moving water.
