how do ya tell the difference from fancy koi to fancy goldfish?

Koi have two barbels on their chin and they have a different body shape. They also grow super fast. Koi will grow to over 24 inches but goldfish only grow to about eleven.

I had a quote a long time ago for a little over five grand. New koi are six bucks.
