Is this the pig cattle dewormer prohibit brand?

The dose is 1 gram (1/4 teaspoon) per 100 gallons which is ~2ppm. So .715 grams in 80 gallons looks about right.

You did it the hard way. :D

I saw the post late last night. I was amazed by that. Excellent work with the microscope and in deciding to get the microscope in the first place. Spironucleus still ... smh. I'll get back to on that.

Edit: re: levamisole I see there are different brands on eBay. It wasn't like that when I ordered in 2014 I think it was? Prohibit brand only.

in today's fecal sample I didn't find any s.vortens and the few i saw in the other sample was hardly anything at all. I will still try to fully kill it but I am redirecting my focus to the worm issue as it far worse than anything else right now. His appetite has dropped a fair bit. he did eat a bit today though.

these eggs are all through kais poops. As of the past 3 days he has only been pooping clear and maybe a bit yellow tint at times. Eggs galore matching those images exactly. i am 100% that this is the main parasite causing the problems currently. Once I can get these worms and eggs gone which should be easy enough with levamisole, his immune system should bounce right back along with his diet.

The best part is i have a microscope which has a 5 year warranty and i am sure it will last even longer. I can check on a regular basis for fecal smears and skin scraps if i ever suspect anything or just curious to see is Kai is still "clean". For my peace of mind this is huge!

I have nothing helpful to add, but I admire your dedication to fixing Kais parasite issue. Seeing your posts I know this has been an ongoing battle. I hope this next treatment knocks the worms out for him.

thanks! i really appreciate the support!! I was so focused on the one pit on his head and s. vortens that I never considered anything else wrong. If not for the microscope I would of had no clue it was this worm infestation which is running rampant in my poor fish intestines.

I know we will get through this and he will go on to live long and healthy life.
