Pleco caves

I forgot who it was but i saw a YT use those bio blocks for pleco caves but the ones he had the holes were larger and he stated its a 2 for 1 you get pleco caves and and also extra established media
I would personally not. I dislike those longer, coarse tubes- any pleco fry that get in can be quite difficult to extricate, and they seem quite likely for fish to get stuck in- even though I had not run into that issue before.
I prefer those short, thinner ceramic rings instead, if I do feel as though those would be necessary. Or, for very small try, the aquavitro shrimp tubes seem to work well.
But then again I personally either leave breeder boxes/GBRs bare, or with a few boiled leaves and/or a small chunk of wood nowadays.
