Crazy I would think so. The guy on aquariacentral his paint didnt even bond to the plywood at all. He took off the panels and it was a perfect paint liner. (drylok)

Dr, na Im gonna try that multicoat paint I posted a thread on. I email them all the time about it working on wood but they never email me back, and I dont care to call. The scratch coat is a primer so I dont see why it wouldnt work....

Customer Service is a HUGE Problem with them, As well as the lack of information being sent with a good 50% of their orders (speaking from a 3rd party prospective on that one). Application of their product is not as simple as other products so it recieves alot of heat for that as well. Not a bad product ... the company needs some work though ;)

The three that come to mind are wizzin from this site and two people that built large koi ponds from another site. The interesting thing is that how do you really know if it was applied properly. From those three threads I've read all the folks applied it like they were told and when they had problems, they were told they applied it wrong. They're customer service is the pits. In all three threads the same tactics of shuck and jive to avoid responsibility and dodge questions were used. That's enough for me to not use it. I do, however, know of one pond builder that uses it w/o any problems, so you can take my reply at face value.

Speaking third party is hearsay, but I take it you had no problem when you used it?

I know wizzin's advenure well, I went to bat for him with the Company,
wizzin admitted he didn't prime properly and had to reorder product (twice?). He tried his hardest but was to fustrated and went another way.

Can you PM me with the other two links please, I'd like to read their adventures.

Meanwhile enough derailing this fine gentleman's thread.

Thanks,

Dr Joe
