Well thought out and executed. Cudos.
I was going to do a glass tank originally but didn't like the price of the glass. So that's what turned me to plywood construction.Buckdog;3515710; said:I've noticed there seems to be a lot of folks in Brisbane building really nice ply tanks. Has it been like that all along or is it just something that came along recently?

I'm sorry if this has already been addressed (I'm exhausted and reading comprehension seems to be escaping me), but I was curious how you acheived the 10' length. Most of the plywood builds I have seen are limited to 8' since thats the dimesions of plywood sheet. Were you able to find a larger sheet of ply, or did you have to combine 2 pieces to get to 10', and if so how did you handle that joint?
Thanks!
Good to know. I guess I'll just have to do some searching when I finally buy a house and start my own build Well done!noiesmo;3516470; said:Thanks
I was able to purchase a plywood sheet 3050mm (10ft) x 1220mm (4ft) x 18mm and it was trimmed to 3000mm x 1200mm.
