The questions are vague. Which ones won't?
 
Are you referring to the combination of pictus catfish and polka dot loaches? Compatibility is not an issue.
 
Like Lupin said, compatibility isnt an issue between the botia & Pictus. If you want them, you can still get them. The JD shouldn't be an issue either unless he gets a mate & breeds. Lupin, let me know if I'm wrong on this...
 
No problem. 2 may not adjust very quickly, though. They like to be in packs, so 3, 4, or 5 Botia would be better...
 
I haven't seen any problems with loaches and pimelodus pictus. Also, in my experience, Botia Kubotai are very active as individuals. I have always had one or two specimens with no problems.
 
There shouldn't be any problems with the pictus, not sure about the JD cause I don't know much about cichlids at all. I started with one kubotai and he was ridiculously shy until I purchased two more.. I'd go with Jake on the 3+ figure, they are pretty social.
