The downsize is always hard because you end up giving up something. With our downsize and remodel we worked the remodel around my tank so I was able to go from a 210g to my 300g but my sacrifice was now I can only have two tanks whereas before I was up to four at one point. But all worth it in the end.

At least you did not have to give up fish altogether, and now you are a poly addict.

Lolz, the only thing in the small house is that my tanks are in the garage, and if i buy another big tank idk where to pit it unless i take out the 75g and put the next big tank there.

Well after some years in a 2080 sqft home (2 story, 4 bd rm, 2.5 bath) with just my wife and I (Son moved out years ago) we decide to downsize in a major way. Our home is now half the size at 1035 sqft. A nice 3 bedroom rambler with 1.75 bath. At least in our situation we bought my wife's grandma's house and were able to tailor it to our wants and needs. So one of the first things was to buy my custom tank and build the house around it. Im glad I did.

When we were in the other home I basically took my space and kept increasing tank sizes that would fit there. I stopped at 75g but could have probably fit in a 5ft, 120g tank pretty easily... wife would have killed me.
