I believe a 40 breeder would be the BARE minimum but more space would 1000% be appreciated. Diet is like most bichirs, I’d feed carnivore pellets and tilapia pieces. Tank mates are things non aggressive fish and perhaps some other smaller bichir species, like Senegal. Not sure abt aggression.

Pretty much what you said. I'd just feed a varied diet avoiding thiaminase. Regarding aggression, that'll depend on the individual fish. Just one thing I would like to mention. Cover the tank with a proper lid. These are escape artist . I have found mine crisped up under the stand after 3 days. It was way earlier in the game .
