Polypterus mokelemembe care?

Hey guys ik receiving 2 polypterus mokelemembe soon and I have some Questions

1. Tank size
2. Diet
3. Tankmates
4. Agression

I believe a 40 breeder would be the BARE minimum but more space would 1000% be appreciated. Diet is like most bichirs, I’d feed carnivore pellets and tilapia pieces. Tank mates are things non aggressive fish and perhaps some other smaller bichir species, like Senegal. Not sure abt aggression. Hao Caveden can give you more information. I believe @themaskedshadow has kept them as well?

Pretty much what you said. I'd just feed a varied diet avoiding thiaminase. Regarding aggression, that'll depend on the individual fish. Generally, they are not aggressive but like any bichir they could be territorial.

Just one thing I would like to mention. Cover the tank with a proper lid. These are escape artist . I have found mine crisped up under the stand after 3 days. It was way earlier in the game .
