Thanks Hao for taking the time to post. Amazing collection. Wish I can like multiple times.

I was referring to the color on this sen . I have see. Three sen from Turkana so far. One is this , one is some other thread which was little bit lighter with stripes visible and third one was greenish in color. But all were long kinds cylindrical with no bulging eyes.

Finally got myself the holy grail of senegals!
Polypterus senegalus "Lake Turkana".
Got this fish 2-3 weeks ago.
Truly a remarkable fish!
Fish is approximately 33-34 cm (13")

I think you are referring to the Turkana Senegal on lighter substrate? Substrate color has a huge effect on a bichirs color. Bump for some holy grail bichirs

Ah yeah that’s the same fish. Not sure where you see “stripes” though.

OG Turkana has grown a bit bigger. Tad bit over 40 cm. Basically 16” now. Gives me hope haha. Maybe she’ll eventually reach 44-46 cm in few years.
