well i just searched prime on ebay and it turns out a 500ml bottle of pond dechlor does 2500g and a 500ml bottle of prime does 5000g and I found i can get prime here no bother so im gonna switch to prime. more bang for your buck.
ive been wondering about a lot of pond equipment lately on my trawls through ebay.
It has its advantages. Quality stress coat qualities Nitrite eliminator Ammonia gets locked up. Supposedly helps with nitrates somehow. Its great stuff and very concentrated. :headbang2

Or buy straight up powdered dechlor (2 diff. types for chlorine and chloramine) from somewhere like AES. It does it's job and does it well, but you can't beat an all in one like Prime. But I'm luck. I don't have to use anything, I have well water.

I have been using a pond dechlor on all my tanks for 3 years now. Never lost a fish due to a water change since then. I change around 70%-80% of the water with no problem. I swear by the stuff.

i did notice the other potentially fish saving properties. could be a handy bottle of stuff to have on hand if theres a bump in the road. thats what ive decided to move onto now.
cheers for the help guys.
