Yes. A friend said just use a ceramic rings. As it is more efficient. 6 liter for an Oscar versus 1 liter for an ceramic ring bioload for a full grown Oscar. So this is going out soon.

Too much glare. Can someone tell me what to do to cut the glare? Cell phone pics with out flash.

In both pictures you can see the poop. It's accumulated in and one afternoon after in just netted all the poop and waterchanged. I will be off to work tomorrow and no one will get the poop. But the feeding has been portioned. I will be back after 5 days to clean up. So the poop should be self cleaning and I will only do waterchange and foam polyfill cleaning. Thanks.
