so I found another person who has no idea as to the value of f1 frontosa in town and got his three off of him

ill post pics later but this was a real score 3 4-6 inch fronts with a mated pair and extra male for $60, and the beauty is that fronts are a fish in high demand here and one of the ones my fish breeding endeavour is aimed at schhhhweeeeeeeeeeet

so I put them in with my colony and the alpha male in the tank was none to keen on it, I watched for half hour or so just to see did not like what I saw netted them out an put them in my 140g catfish tank for a short stay as I am in the process of resiliconing a 100g to set up my bleekeri in

be back later doin wc right now
lucky lucky you.. looking forward to seeing them all again..and the new ones..:D

ok so finally got time to load the pics off my camera

this is the tank they came out of and then individual shots of them goin in the tank but like i said we took them out the alpha got real uptight with the 3 new ones due to thier size so we put them in the catfish tank

Red, I have a killer thing im gonna post for you in 2 weeks.

Next weekend I will be doing a 7 hour road trip to pick up a 320g and 230g might also be picking up 2 180g from the guys who has the 320g. Here is the killer part.

I been talking to this guy for about a week about the 320 brokering a deal, and solidified the deal today. Then he emails me about how he might not have his 180g ready next weekend as he has over 300 or so fish in his fish room that he needs to get rid of first, so of course I ask him what kind of fish.

He sends me this email here is part of it, and he gave me the list of his personal fish

Here's a few- 2 motoro stingrays, juraneese catfish, whale catfish totally rare! (I can't even find this guy on google). One tank is a south american tank with at least ten plecos (no normal ones) including a 9 inch scarlet and a 9 inch vampire pleco

So my next ? is you have any pics and he sends me a vid of the top 180g and the 320g and I can not believe what I see when i open the file of the 180g.

A BREEDING COLONY OF SOME KILLER NICE FRONTS :WHOA:

Best part of the whole deal is his next email says that basically since I am comitted to taking the three biggest tanks he has I am first in line for any of his stock and boy he has some nice stock.:jaw:
I know ahead of time that this is gonna be a two part purchase cause in no way can i move four big tanks and as many fish as I will be getting from him in one trip so I will be heading back with a cargo van rigged up with an ambulence for fish set up so that we can make sure no one dies :naughty:

so I will take pics of his tanks as they are when I get there but also make sure to show the fish off when I get them home

wow wow wow wow

sorry i did not read this sooner... you must be getting them right now.. it is the weekend... i cannot wait to see ...how lucky is that...:nilly::nilly::D:D wonder what else your getting... surprise.. that is so lucky that it is you who is getting them,..

well I had to leave my fronts an their tank there due to a uhaul truck rental fubar of the day but my next trip will be to get the 2 180g and this colony

DSC07041.jpg

just did not feel secure in bringing them back on the hope that they would make it though we will be going back to get them

That was smart thinking ...not to take chances... cannot wait to see them.. all safe and sound..

well since I found a 10 foot 300g and a 8 foot 420g here in sask only 1 1/2 hour from regina it looks like I might not be going back to calgary to get the 2 180 and the 230, so most probably that colony of fronts will be out of the ?.

BUT

I do have a really good supply line with one of my fish suppliers I will be using to get wild caught at just a little bit more than what I was gonna pay for that colony(those were all f1 f2) so to me w/c f0 is the way to go

Yet, so not as to let you down here is a picture of my 140g since I rescaped it

keep the frontosas pics coming.. beautiful
