The soles (floundersd) are very shy they spend most the day hiding under the sand and only comes out when fed, i read somewhere that they are nocturnal. I personally enjoy these fishes cause of their odd behavior like how they stick on the glass or bury themselves, theres no fish out there like these that i know of, very odd but cool.
Ironic that you posted back just now this minute, because I have just come to my computer from releasing one I brought home today into a tank. I'll see how this one does in the tank then maybe pickup a couple more.

Can you tell me what yours are feeding on? What size are yours? Any notable aggression?

Thanks for you time and info.

Also, I have put them in a shrimp tank. You Amanos have not bothered them at all correct?
Correct, the amanos actually grew about a half inch since i got em, they were bought as food for the flounders but are now their thank mates. I have a puicture in this thread of the flounder and shrimp side by side check it out its somewhere on the first page.

I saw. I just ask because they seem to have a taste for frozen foods of shrimp. Brine, mysis, etc.
