Times change, and taxes are high.
We sold the large aquariums and kept the good old 40 galllon breeder (36x18x16).
The last photo seen is the 48x24x16 (80gal.) open-top build.
Besides the humidity in the summer, we all miss that 80gal.
The 40gal is all we have time for this decade.
A great new dog from a shelter came into the picture, and that about swept the spare time in full.
The 40 breeder has a single Biomaster 600 running on it, as well as a simple powerhead hidden in the plants for the additional current.
Only Amano-like shrimp species and two large snails are in the tank.
During the move from 80 gal to 40 gal, all the Crypt species about melted from, new city water, a timer error, and my personal errors.
Everything is more compact, but should make a decent recovery.
...and YES, we all miss the 48x24x16 open top build.
It was a gorgeous build.
