Not the best photo, but this is an old setup of mine. I switched it to a reef about a year ago and now I really regret it . When I'm done with school I'll probably get back into more serious planted tanks. All I have planted right now is my 120 but its just low-light stuff. I can post pics of that soon as well.

Actually you sort of nailed it right there. Its so hard to get that "simple yet nice" look in a reef tank. I find it so much easier to work with plants. Plus, coral is hella expensive around here...
