My uncle and the catch of the day; halibut, yellow eyed rockfish, rockfish and some other ones

The rockfish must've been fun to reel in

They were ALL hard to reel in. Nothing like trying to pull in a halibut though! As you are reeling you would think it weighed 200 lbs....then you get it to the surface....it's 14 lbs lol. A little different than trout fishing in E. WA haha!

A few 'Raigyo' pic`s. These are around the 80cm mark. My biggest to date is an 88cm fish! Unfortunately, I didn`t have my camera with me on that day
