Well I’m glad I didn’t pick him up then. Also are you 100% sure he’s a west African lung? I was told possibly Protopterus amphibius which I was doubtful of after looking up pictures but would have gone back for if that was the case.

also I lucked out and got a super chill marbled lungfish I’ve been able to house with tank mates for years I don’t wanna mess up and pick up a serial killer that I’d have to set up a huge tank for I know the Protopterus amphibius don’t get nearly as big.

My SAL and accompanying best friend, rhino pleco, they always make a mess when fed, hence the tank looking like it’s snowing
