The tank is a cracked 56g tall (30L X 18W X 24H) that I picked up for really cheap from TFP. I sealed the crack with silicone and plexiglass and made background from GS foam covered in brown silicone and cocofiber with some african root wood embeded. The land portion has a false bottom of egg crate covered in weed barrier. Here it is after setting up the dryscape:

I want black & blue frogs and my girl wants green and black frogs. So splitting the tank was the best way to suit both of our lusts...
Dart Frogs don't really 'need' that much water but I really like water features. Provided the frogs can easily get out of the water (which they can) the water feature doesn't hurt anything. From what I have read there is risk of frogs drowning one another when overcrowded but there will only be a single pair on each side.
