They are really beating themselves up on the eggcrate divider trying to get at each other. So I'm going to make a divider that they can't see through or move one of the pairs to another tank.

I moved my current breeding pair into their own tank. I kid you not, the little punks murdered an 8-inch baby silver Arowana that I briefly had in a temporary setup with them. I didn't expect them to pair off, breed and go psycho at only 1.5 inches when I first got them. We moved Outlaw (male) and Ruffian (female) along with their pot of wrigglers and I've had a blast watching them raise their fry. The little female is by far the more dedicated and aggressive parent. She beats the snot out of the male when he messes up.

Would y’all be able to tell me what gender my convict cichlid is? I’m new to keeping them and I’m pretty sure it’s a female. Thanks for helping me out
