PRIME vs Pond PRIME

they are the same, and safe too! you can use pond prime for aquarium, but don't use Safe prime indoor, your house will smell really strong with that!

All are safe for aquarium use. The more concentrated the product, the more smelly the product is likely to be. I have been using Pond Prime in all of my tanks for the past two years. 1 capful treats 100 gallons. Seachem makes it but puts it out under another one of their brands. I have not used Safe, but I am sure it is fine to use.

safe is fine for indoor use

Agreed, I have been using Safe in my indoor tanks for years, while the powder itself has an odor there are no issues with smell once the powder is added to the tanks.

As far as regular Prime vs Pond Prime, as previously stated they are the exact same product/formula, therefore one must use the exact same dosage rate when using in a closed system such as an aquarium.

1 capful may treat 100 gallons, 50 gallons, or 250 gallons, the dosage rate is entirely dependant on the amount of chlorine/chloramine residuals found in your local tap water. I'm surprised how confusing this appears to be for some people.

Some of you may want to read this past thread.
