So if gars were the only thing in that puddle, how'd they get so big?????? I tell ya, I'm livin in the wrong part of FL

there was a few minnows and small fish but not many
but when there was alot of water the gar came from other places
then as the water went down they just got trapped is how they got there

ive never seen a baby gar
and im still trying for one 28"+

drove by the puddle today and stopped
looks like the puddle is drying up by the day
if it doesnt rain soon i bet the puddle will be gone by the weekend
so i saved them just in time

Awesome man!! Thats whats happening around here!! The water is receeding from all the flood water. Tons of fish trapped every where. Still too floodeded to catch any of the gars, cats, bowfin, but in a few days it'll be just right.

Why didn't you put on some boots and just go out there and grab them?

psssh...*rolls eyes*...that ain't nothing to be a skerd of. Thats what makes catching them with your hands so much fun/exciting!! Doesn't really hurt that bad getting nailed by them anyway....
