No they are to small for them to get their beam into so generally ignore them.

But my puffers mouth is too small to eat prawns. I feed them frozen blood worm they got eat

Okay, as always with puffers its 'try it and see' but mine never had any interest.. I just cut the prawn/cockle/muscle up and they chewed it up and ate it fine. But like I said if It works go for it!
