Ask her what she's looking for in a puffer though. There are much more personable species than the lurkers. How about some BW GSPs?

ive got a jade w/ an aro and some clown loaches he has lived his whole life in that tank so far and never hurt anyone but keep in mind even "good"puffs often SNAP and kill everyone
Your "jade" puffer is a Tetraodon fluvitilis & belongs in the same conditions as a GSP--high end BW.
just beware i had some smaller guys and they used to beat the hell out of my larger fish including a pleco..........no one picks on a pleco
A friend of mine had an 8" pleco bitten in half by her 4" fahaka, as soon as the pleco hit the water.
a 30 gal planted with pea puffers is probably the neatest tank ive seen. they have crazy personality for being so small. you could do your 75 like that.
