Is keeping fish tank in the bedroom bad for health? I've a 65g tank in my bedroom & wanted to know the opinions from fellow members here..

PS: the reason I put the title 'bedroom' cause I encounter this error of page not loading with moderate length title.. sry..

natural sounds to help you sleep, acts like a humidifier, something to look at, probably a necessity to have SOME tank in the bedroom on MFK

It's pretty soothing to the soul.. but what bout health wise? I keep on hearing people say that it'll make you sick in long terms..

you're asking if sleeping in a room with a tank is a hazzard to your health. if that were the case, just having fish tanks in your home would be somewhat hazzardous to your health, as well. i can't see any scientific logic in aquariums being a health hazzard. if anything, as one poster has already stated, it's probably an advantage to one's health.

I imagine he means due to humidity .

I wouldn't do it man, I know a dude who put a tank in his room and BOOM herpes. So yah, it's a bad idea.
