Queery about fish and legality of imports and etc

Hi I'm new and have t got any fish currently,

I really love pacus and tambaqui (I know black pacu) but are they illegal in Victoria Australia, and if not where would I look in getting them and how to care fore them containe them etc.

All I know about Pacu is they get very big. So you will need to upgrade tank size several times.

pacu mom can give some advice about care and tank size.

as far as legality hopefully one of our Australian members may know.

pacus and tambaqui (I know black pacu) but are they illegal in Victoria Australia. Unfortunately all Pacu species are illegal to own in Australia. The Pacu is considered an invasive species and dangerous to the freshwater ecosystem of Australia.
