I'm moving in a few weeks, and When I get moved in I have a tank ready for order, and going to make it saltwater (12x4x3') I was thinking of a few tankmates, lemme know if I could do this. I really want a grouper, specifically a bumblebee grouper, and a shark of some sort. Anyway let me know if i could do this. possible tankmates. I want an all predator tank with possibly addins real coral and frags and what not, like a reef tank and have open water predators surround the reef fish if possible.

1x bumblebee grouper
1x polleni grouper
1x lion fish
1x tessaleta eel
1x kidako eel
1x titan trigger
1xbluejaw trigger
1x dogfaced puffer
1x stars and stripes puffer
(either of the sharks possible?)
1x port jackson shark
1x blacktip shark
1x copper wobbygong shark
then a schooling fish around the reef area
3-7x bluface angelfish
3-7x french angel
3-7x laboutei fairy wrasse
3-7x melanurus wrasse

way overstocked lik ridiculously overstocked it would be a free for all as to who could kill who and i think the bumblebee and the titan would be the two left standing.

thats only a thousand gallon tank not a ten thousand gallon tank you would have to be in the ten thousand range for all that stock. im designing and planning a 13-1400 gallon build for my titan trigger and some smaller fish designing it for them to be able to get away from him but he will rule that 1400 gallon on his own let alone trying to make him live in a smaller tank with so many large fish they would hardly be able to move around without running into each other

these are only ideas, as to the stock, I'd only want maximum of 6 fish, i was asking if any of the combos could work, i gave ideas on what sort of sharks i'd like to have,, only one shark. Not one of each, only one grouper, no one of each, and only one eel not one of each and so on and so on.

that tank would be good for a titan trigger and a bumblebee grouper than, you could have a group of smaller fish as long as you give them solid hiding places to stay away from the 2 monsters. or go with a live rock pile in the center and do a black tip reef shark that would swim around the outside of the center pile of rocks and keep some smaller fish in there like say a giant school of 2.99 damsels that would get picked off one at a time and have to be replenished regularly.

The port jackson shark needs a cold water tank and won't fit in with the other fish. Also mixing any of the triggers with corals especially stonys is a bad idea as they love to bite into hard shelled or encrusting animals. They also can turn over rocks when they get large.
