Quiet Powerhead/wave maker

Sorry...missed that it was an established system. I wouldnt worry to much about the bristles. Seems to me that most "plagues" come in waves. You will see them all over, and then they will slowly reach a carrying capacity in the tank, where they will stay unless you add biological controls. I would suggest a six-line or similar wrasse if you wanted to go that route.

I have had about 50 pounds of LR that I purchased off CL really cheap because it had bristle worms and aptasia all over it. I put it in a tub with nothing but a heater and a powerhead in a corner and forgot about it for about 6 months. I went back to check on it and the bristle worms were still alive. I unplugged the heater and power head about 6 months ago. I went to get the rock last week so I could cycle it and put it in my refugeium and there was a bristle worm still on one of the rocks and a unknown amount in the rest of the rock. So after over a year with no food and 6 months no heat or water movement mine are still alive. I am to the point where I am just going to let the rock dry out for a month or so, or just throw it in and see what happens.
