If you are planning a proper breeding project, and wanting to grow out and keep fry, you are going to need more than one tank anyway, perhaps several more.
Why not take the plunge and get a larger one (or more) now?
Fry will need to be separated into grow out tanks by size, otherwise larger fry tend to eat their smaller brothers and sisters, sometimes at alarming rates.
When breeding any species of cichlid, I usually have 3 or 4 tanks at the ready, or large grow out tanks, or vats of over 100 gallons to slow attrition, and allow proper growth.
If keeping fry isn't priority then it won't matter.
