no that was from over a year ago, sorry. what kind of indian fish are you still after? you have a nice collection yourself already!andregurov;2638744; said:Was that goonch a current import as well? If so ... can we expect more Indian fish soon?
Beautiful beast, sorry to see it deceased (and the horror of such death in some horrifically beat up boxes!).
haha...jonesin...pheening... well, tors aren't regular allowed to be exported out of India. So they'll send me one box of them, and then 15 boxes of other fish, which end up costing me anywhere from 5-8 thousand dollars, and many fish will die, and hours of time spend acclimating, unpacking., feeding, setting up tanks for them. waiting for customs and fish and wildlife, a lot of headache. i wish i had more money, more time, and more energy to bring in more of these fish. but at times, I lose money after all this effort, which really deteres me from importing. i can't sell the tors too expensive, or nobody would buy them. and the "other" fish sometimes I couldn't even pay people to take. In the past, I did many shipments because I wanted the fish myself, and I've paid dearly for those shipments.cuban jey;2641104; said:oh you know what indian fish were jonesin for
