Anyone ever get Wells catfish in the hobby? Or are they illegal here in the states?

There is another Asian Fish I've only seen twice in the last decade. It is currently listed as an Asian Trout (shop in Sacramento). It's not even close to being a trout species though and for its size has a huge mouth. I've seen a 4 inch specimen eat a 2 inch goldfish.

here is an updated picture of the Leptobotia elongata! and following it is the picture of the giant one that we saw, the basin is 24" across on the top. the picture quality is very poor, since we took it from another computer, but I will one day get one that big or at least the actual picture

We also found 4 other species of loaches in that area, and a few undescribed ones. The upcoming TFH articles should have some of them featured, stay tuned!
