Rare Fish pic From Rare Fish series

Those freshwater trivially are common in taal lake here in the Philippines. They are pure fresh coz they are land locked. Very finicky eaters and would only eat things that make them chase.

I must go visit one day, that sounds awesome. Again it proves my point of there are many fish that can live in pure fresh and not requiring salt water as they grow old. Science is ever changing and people need to unlearn in their mind what they've learned in school and open up to new information.

I've heard enough of this crap about a fish "needs" to move into salt water as they grow older, that is a load of crap.

By the way,.... How is the grouper doing? Is it still in freshwater? Does it have to be in freshwater from hatching to survive this long. Your grouper is amazing. I would love to have a tank with just that fish :)
 
it did great for 5 years, then died during a move to my friend's house, the moving container wasn't big enough and the long ride in traffic

SO does that goby..and are those the panda's around him? Very cool.
