Hey Fugu I don't know if it would be something that you would be familiar with or could find or even consider rare but I have been dieing to find some Retroculus species of any kind. The last time I have seen or heard about them being available was about five years ago. Have you ever seen them or know where I could find some?

yeah, they're pretty neat, found in Xingu and Tapajos I believe, they're pretty rare in the hobby, there are some F1 floating around once in a while, I don't have many imports from that region at this time, but will keep an eye out for you. That's always been higher on my list.

yes, captive bred ones about 4 years ago, we had albino and piebald ones both, for a very short time, and rather pricey., not sure if I can find the picture of it now...

here are some pictures of Oscars from Venezuela region, unsure of the exact location. These were re-exported from Japan.

i can get those i live on a island very close to there and we have wild oscars on
