these fish are being sold at my local petsmart as tinfoil barbs

Not sure if I interpreted this wrong, but Tinfoil Barbs are the species Barbonymus schwanenfeldii, whereas those are called Jerdon's Carp.

he is in the tank with tinfoil barbs but there is only one of him and he schools with the tinfoils but he is much narrower and more streamline looking

First in my album collection- Megalancistrus gigas from Brazil this beast made big craters on my acrylic tank!

Page 1, post 1. I've looked through the first ~100 pages and last 20 and no one seems to ask you, Wes. What do you mean by big craters? Did it ruin your tank? By doing what? Sorry about taking you so far back.

Large Pleco's can scrape at the acrylic. Gigas are huge, can cause big damage.

Really enjoyed the pics, Wes. How big was that big cat? Was it was a Dourada? I also really enjoyed the nightime pictures. South America is so beautiful!
