hey suckerfish, this catla sp. is better than the catlocarpio, they are absolutely unique and first time in this country, just wait and see the picture, they're about 5" right now.

Here is a picture of the tor pitutora, the sharp nose masheer, streamlined predator grows to 6 feet

we have small 2" ones, 4" ones and here is a picture of an adult from JJ's photos

While identifications of specifics are difficult with these fish, these were shipped to me as
Tor tor, most of these fish grow to 4 feet plus in the wild, with gold metallic scales size of your hand. They use muskrats as baits to catch them, and until 2 years ago, I've never seen them offered for sale anywhere in the world!!!! So here comes a few pictures, some from the interenet and some from my tanks!

When you get super rare fish do they go straight back out the door?

Or do they sit around for a while before someone buys them?

hmm...depends on who I talk to, and quantities. some fish are one and only, and some I like to keep for myself, and some sell out quickly, so did I answer your question? :confused:
