polynemus paradiseus-no its not a cat fish, and yes, its pretty rare in the hobby, and even harder to keep alive!

I don't Delgado, can you post a picture of yours? I'd love to have that added to this thread! But I do have some Madagascar scats, all the years of keeping fish, I've had these only twice and only seen them twice!
a native fish for some people. imagine a tank full of these. I use to catch these in Toronto near the Niagara Falls, but I believe they are more common down South where its warmer!
A marbled S. rhombeus, only a few in the country, very rare and at 16" even rarer!
