yeah, but I heard David from Japan was going to sell me a pair  Thanks for the update. Oh, how about Channa amphibius, how is the availability of that, I hear they're available in Japan right?
If I were to sell.......... well not at the present time anyway.;)

I don't believe the amphibius is available, its ID is being mixed up with the C. barca.

So I've been offered some amphibius, what do you think they are? Blue barca or amphibius ?

From I can tell, they could be a varient of a stewartii from what I have been explained to. Do you have side on pics so a scale and fin count can be done? This will tell you almost certainly if they are amphibius.

A rare fish from India, cannot find the description on it, and I've not seen another one like it since, the coloration is almost like its sick or dying, but its normal!
Is that a barimundi? or how ever it is spelled.

Thanks David, I recently saw a picture of what I believe is you and your son posing in front of your tank, I recognized it from the stock of fish you have. I"ll see if I can dig up more info. on the Channa sp. too bad we can't have them here in the U.S. I also noticed that you have a couple of barca less in your signature?

No, that is not a barramundi and the spelling is almost correct :) It is a Nandus sp. slaty, a new species from India, still being described, it doensn't get much bigger than 3"

I never was big on the s.a. cichlids, do you have pictures of the ones you've mentioned? If I see a picture, and I might have more interest in them :) You should just change your screen name to suchus seeker!
