Tahuantinsuyoa macantzatza aren't endangered (I don't believe so) but they are rather uncommon. They are a very cool acara-like SA cichlid.

I think Panamensis would be a great fish to breed. One of my favorites from that group. I have Myrnae and the pair have breed several times but its hard to find homes for the babies. I find myself giving them away all the time.

Not to hijack the thread, but if you are willing to ship, I'd sure take some of your myrnae fry off your hands...

driftwood Is that how it is with all cryptoheros species? not many willing to take them?

I have never had issues finding homes from and archocentrus or cryptos. They can be harder to sell or trade as fry but as soon as they get large enough to sell as pairs or sexed groups they go like hot cakes. The only fish you might have touble selling is petstore convict.

Oh ok thats good to know. The only reason i ask is because i would like to be able to sell some off to the LFS if i ave any extras. They are always interested in some smaller colorful cichlids =)

steatocranus tinanti

max out at about 5 1/2 inches for males..bottom dwelling...peaceful and they have the best personality's ever they are highly communal and i recommend a group of 6 or more.

My group is currently in a 40 tall soon to be moved to a 70..great little fish..what they lack in color they make up for in personality and strange communality behavior .

every morning my group comes out and dog piles on each other rubbing and nuzzling for about an hour before going back to there respective caves.

Lol those steatocranus tinanti look hilarious kaosu! I am deff interested in them and may out a few in my next tank! for the nanoluteus what is the minimum size tank that they would be able to be housed in as a pair?
