  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
hmmm .... kinda unnatural lookin but pretty cool ^^;;

silver aro? or black?
nice ray : ) and :O a boulengerella!!

haha that looked hella boss with the horns!!
to bad about the decomp... i guess another good way to prep bones would be to let them sit outside in the sun for like a month just to dry them out

It's a FW stingray in the sand, a hujeta "gar", FW barracuda, characin, whatever the hell you want to call it. I also have a Polypterus, clawed frog, and a little generic red fin shark leftover from the previous tank. Having a hard time with the arowana though--aquarium is calling them "blue hybrids", some new color strain, but--no pun intended--it's five day old fish. I ain't buying it.

wow that a great idea.... its gonna look really good once ricia grows its gonna look even better....deff a new idea.turned out well

I love this idea, too bad the horns didnt last, What im wondering is if you put on a non high gloss water proof epoxy or something similair all over the skull in a thin but effectiv coating, would that help to preserve it from decomp and the like?
Love it cant wait to see it when the ricca grows.

I'm too afraid to put anything on it...I have a couple more skulls so worst case I just say **** it and put another one in there...if my aro dies I'll cry...ha ha

LOL, ok well that does make sense, just didnt know if that would help preserve it without harming them, maybe something to look into, as well i dont know epoxy's or any of that sort i just hear of it alot when i read the DIY section.

oh haha not boulengerella xD i havent seen a hujeta for a while, and i only have boulengerella to look at in my house so thats wat i blurbed out xD nice fish!
