red cherry shrimp dark eggs?

hi, i recently got some red cherry shrimp. some of them have what looks like eggs, but they are dark brown or greyish in colors. the pictures ive seen here have yellowish eggs, so i dont know if these are eggs or what?

Got a pic? Based on color I think something may be wrong with those eggs, they are probably no good. That is, if they are eggs.

i'll try to get a picture up tomorrow.

it looks like round circles and they are on the back leg/flipper things. the only thing is it is dark colored.

if it wasn't eggs, could it be anything harmful? like parasites or whatever?

Sounds alot like eggs. But without a pic I wont say for sure. Ive never seen dark eggs before. But it still doesnt mean that something is wrong.

my cherries have different coloour eggs sometimes. some are bright yellow and others are a yellow/brown mix. they all hatched okay.

That looks normal. They can have green/brown eggs or yellow eggs.

How long does it take the eggs to hatch?

about 21 days in tank in the 76-80 temp range, anywhere around 3 weeks is typical.
